June 1 - 6
This week, the roof on the church building (Building A) will be repaired. This work may affect the location of our midweek Bible study/prayer meeting. Please keep an eye on your email for updates.
Forged Men's Ministry
Service Project Days
Day 1: Saturday, June 13
Day 2: Saturday, June 20
7:00am-12:00pm (Come and go as you need to)
Soccer Field and Field House
Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Tools to bring (if possible): wheelbarrows, shovels, seed forks, and rakes
Iron sharpens iron, and Forged is putting that into practice this June.
We have two Saturday service projects coming up, and we need every able-bodied man and boy to show up and swing a shovel.
Here's the mission: we're spreading woodchips along the hillsides around our soccer field to get it ready for our upcoming Soccer Camp evangelism outreach. This is ground-level (literally) kingdom work, and the more hands we have, the faster it gets done.
This is a great opportunity to serve alongside your brothers and sons, do meaningful work with your hands, and play a direct role in preparing for a summer of outreach. Let's show up strong.

Baptism Service

Summer Kids' Club

Building B
Summer Kids Club is for age 3 to upcoming 6th graders. Kids will learn a Bible lesson, sing songs, and play games. Kids may register the first night they attend. June 3 is the first night!
We need a couple more volunteers to help each Wednesday (or on a rotation). If you are interested in helping, you may sign up in the foyer or see Pastor Seth Peterson (speterson@khbc.org).
Cookies needed for Soccer Camp
June 22 - 26
We need several volunteers to bake cookies for our Hospitality Team to use at Soccer Camp. These cookies will be handed out to the families who stay to observe the camp each night. If you can assist in this way, please sign up in the church foyer. Cookies should be dropped of in the church office by Monday, June 22. (Please do not make cookies with nuts in them).
2026 Soccer Camp WORKERS NEEDED!

Age 13 and up may volunteer!
WORKER signup is available! We need around 100 volunteers! You may fill out a form in the church foyer and drop it in the box provided, or you may use the Breeze link by CLICKING HERE. You can find out more details and watch last year's recap video on our website's soccer camp page by CLICKING HERE. A workers' orientation meeting and dinner will be held on Wednesday, June 17 at 6:30pm. More information will be emailed to workers when the time gets closer.
CAMPER registration is now FULL and a waiting list is available. Visit our website's soccer camp page for more information. Camp is for boys and girls, ages 6-12. If you have questions, please contact the church office.
Junior Choir Practice

Junior Choir practices take place on Wednesdays at 6:30pm (before AWANA Clubs). The kids will meet in the same room as last year (Room D-#102, Building D). Deanna Peterson is the director. (Junior Choir will meet MOST Wednesdays during the months of September through May).
AWANA CLUBs

Youth Group Bible Study

The Youth Group is for grades 7-12 and meets regularly on Wednesday nights from 6:35-8pm in the Youth Room (Building A) or Fieldhouse (weather-permitting) to worship together, be challenged from the Bible, and fellowship together.
College & Career Bible Study
