Ladies Pickup Volleyball

Monday Nights (March 2, 9, 23, 30; April 13, 20) | 7:15 - 8:30pm

Gym (Building D)

Beginning in March, we will have our pickup volleyball nights (6 nights total) for ladies age 16 and up. If you are interested in playing, please sign up in the foyer or contact Lauren Boulanger (lboulanger@khbc.org) so she can get an idea of how many to expect. 

If there are not enough ladies to participate on any particular night, then that night will be canceled, and we will try again the following Monday.



Praise & Potluck

We will have a time of worship through song, followed by a potluck dinner. We ask everyone to bring a dish to share. The church will provide drinks. Please sign up in the foyer if you plan to attend.

LIFE Ministry Craft Night

Join us for a fun spring craft and some fellowship! Please bring an old t-shirt to protect your clothes from paint. Sign up in the foyer if you plan to attend so we can make sure we have enough supplies for everyone! Ladies age 16 and up are invited!

Our AWANA Clubs need volunteers to help with their next 2 events. 

1) AWANA Verse-a-thon: Volunteers are needed to listen to clubbers recite verses on March 25. You may also volunteer to financially sponsor one or more of the clubbers. 

2) AWANA Fair: Volunteers are needed to supervise the different venues/inflatables on April 1.

KHBC Inflatables Open Gym

Thursday, April 2 | 6:30-8:00pm

Ages: 6th grade and younger

The gym will be open for the church family kids (6th grade and younger) to play on the inflatables that are used for the AWANA Fair. All children MUST be acompanied by a parent.


SAm - Living Gallery Trip

Bob Jones University in South Carolina

Cost: $20/person + money for a meal

The Senior Adult Ministry (ages 60 and up) is interested in taking a trip to Greenville, SC, to see Bob Jones University's annual Living Gallery production. The cost is $20/person (plus money for a meal stop). If you are interested in attending, please sign up in the church foyer. We need a minimum signup of 5 people.

Junior Choir Practice

Wednesdays | 6:30-6:50pm

For 1st-6th graders

Junior Choir practices take place on Wednesdays at 6:30pm (before AWANA Clubs). The kids will meet in the same room as last year (Room D-#102, Building D).  Deanna Peterson will direct. (Junior Choir will meet MOST Wednesdays during the months of September through May). 


AWANA CLUBs

Wednesdays | 6:55-8:15pm

Clubbers Age: 3-years-old to 6th grade

The clubber registration link for the 2025-26 year is also available on that webpage. Clubbers may register online or on the first night they attend. (AWANA Clubs will meet MOST Wednesdays during the months August through May).

Nursery Volunteers

About the Nursery
Nursery is provided for babies and toddlers (up to 35 months old) on Sundays and Wednesdays. If you are interested, please see Lois Schulz (404-936-7129). *A background check and Ministry Safe certification training will be required for all workers.
Available Slots during Sunday Worship Service (10:30am-12:00pm)
1 Volunteer - 1st Sunday of each month - toddlers room
1 Volunteer - 2nd Sunday of each month - toddlers room
1 Volunteer - 3rd Sunday of each month - babies room
Available Slots during Wednesday/Midweek Bible Study & Prayer Meeting (6:50-8:00pm)
1 Volunteer - 4th Wednesday of each month - babies/toddlers combined

Children's Church Volunteers

About Children's Church
Children's Church is for children age 3 - Kindergarten. It meets each Sunday during the morning worship service (10:40am-12:00pm). The lead worker will teach a brief lesson and all workers will supervise/assist kids during other activities (coloring, singing, bathroom break, snack break, playtime). If you are interested in helping, please see Suzanne Johns (sjohns@khcs.org). *A background check and Ministry Safe certification training will be required for all workers.
Available Slots
1 Lead Teacher - teach on the 5th Sunday of the month (when applicable) - 2 teen workers are already assigned to help you
Substitutes - teach when other volunteers are sick or out of town.

junior Church Volunteers

About Junior Church
Junior Church is for children in 1st-4th grade. It meets in the parlor each Sunday morning during the sermon-portion of the worship service (children are dismissed from the worship service just before the sermon). The lead teacher will teach a brief lesson and all workers will supervise/assist the kids. If you are interested, please see Lauren Boulanger (lboulanger@khbc.org). *A background check and Ministry Safe certification training will be required for all workers.

2 Workers - teach 4th Sunday every other month
