Junior Church Update

1st-4th Grade

Beginning in September, Junior Church will not meet on Sundays in which the Lord's Table is observed (usually 1st Sunday of each month). It will continue to meet on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays unless otherwise noted in the bulletin.

Junior Choir Practice

Wednesdays | 6:30-6:50pm

For 1st-6th graders

Junior Choir practices take place on Wednesdays at 6:30pm (before AWANA Clubs). The kids will meet in a different room than last year (Room D-#104, Building D).  Deanna Peterson is the director. (Junior Choir will meet MOST Wednesdays during the months of September through May).

Sunday, September 6

On Sunday, September 6, all kids age 3-years-old through 7th grade should move up (if applicable) to their new Sunday school classes based on their current grade.

Praise & POtluck

Sunday, September 6 | 6:00pm

Lunchroom (Building C)

We will have a time of worship through song, followed by a potluck dinner. We ask everyone to bring food to share. The church will provide drinks. Please sign up in the foyer if you plan to attend.

LIFE (Ladies) Ministry Meeting

The LIFE (ladies) ministry is kicking off its monthly gatherings on September 10! Our focus this year will be on the importance of prayer. Kristen Lucius will be sharing a devotional, and refreshments will be served. Ladies age 16 and older are invited. Please sign up in the foyer if you plan to attend.

The goal of the LIFE Ministry is to provide the ladies of KHBC with spiritual edification, along with encouragement for "life-touching-life" ministry.

AWANA CLUBs

Clubbers Age: 3-years-old to 6th grade

If you would like more information about what AWANA clubs are, please CLICK HERE to visit our AWANA page on our website. The clubber registration link for the 2026-27 year is also available on that webpage. Clubbers may register online or on the first night they attend. (AWANA Clubs will meet MOST Wednesdays during the months August through May).

Youth Group Bible Study

Youth Room (Building A)

The Youth Group is for grades 7-12 and meets regularly on Wednesday nights from 6:35-8pm in the Youth Room (Building A) or Fieldhouse (weather-permitting) to worship together, be challenged from the Bible, and fellowship together.

College & Career Bible Study

We are very excited to grow together. A lot of you may already have plans, but we would love for you to be able to attend even some of the weeks if you can!
